lm|summittere amorlm 'animos' quidam pro 'iras' accipiunt, ut 'animosus' dicitur pro 'iracundus': et 'supplex animos summittere amori' id est supplices preces adhibere, quae erat amore victa. 'summittere' autem 'amori', ac si diceret, non Aeneae: aut certe Aeneam amorem vocavit. ubique tamen subaudiendum 'cogitur'.
