1 Victurius [vero] Cenomannorum episcopus magnis se virtutibus saepius declaravit.2 Nam ferunt, quadam vice, dum civitas ipsa cremaretur incendio, et validis globis flammae huc illucque, inpellente vento, prepellerentur, hic quasi pastor bonus non perferens, eclesiasticas caulas ab insidia satanae devastari, obviam se turbini obtulit, elevataque manu, facto signo crucis econtra, ilico omne cessavit incendium, liberataque civitas gratias pastori retulit, eo quod non permiserit res suas ab inminenti igne voran.3 Et ad huius sepulchrum saepius infirmi sanantur.Gregorius Turonensis HOME
